One-Way Ride turns trash to treasure for charity bike build
Randy Kiefer and friend Zack Menke salvage bicycle parts from dumps and shops to build bikes for the Rosarito Ensenada Bike Ride charity cycle, then donate finished bicycles to families in need through Desarrollo Integral de la Familia in Mexico. The effort, centered in Irvine, blends dumpster diving with wrenching sessions and community snacks as they prepare eight bikes for the ride.
