Faith in Action Sunday mobilizes Good Shepherd members
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Irvine hosts its 6th Faith in Action Sunday this weekend after the 8 and 9:30 a.m. services at the Irvine Center Drive campus. Members will select from 10 local and global projects including serving meals at Salvation Army and sewing cloth feminine hygiene items for Days for Girls and sand scarves for Soldiers’ Angels. Pastor Ryan Warne-McGraw will pray for volunteers and assemble AIDS caregiver kits for World Vision, as 300 plus parishioners sign up and organizers expect up to 450 volunteers.
