Irvine Eyes 10000-Seat Amphitheater at Great Park
Irvine plans a 10000-capacity amphitheater at the Orange County Great Park to replace Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre which loses its land lease in 2017. The project advances with a request for proposals to select a private partner to build own and operate the venue with 4000 parking spaces and a 2000 lawn, costing an estimated 40 to 50 million dollars.
