Great Park Entrances Await Signage And Address Gap
Irvine's Great Park may wait four to five more years for a prominent entrance sign as officials plan a $45,000 mural on a concrete wall along the freeway. Public Works chief Brian King says visitors still struggle to locate the park and notes Marine Way remains the main access. The board, minus Mayor Choi, voted 4-0 to delay action amid a possible future shift of Marine Way and no formal street address for the park.
