Synod of Iowa meeting prep and program details
Preparations are under way in Ireton for the sixth annual Synod of Iowa meeting of the United Presbyterian Church expected to host about sixty delegates from Iowa and nearby states. The event, led by Rev. S. M. McConnell, includes sessions Tuesday through Thursday with lectures, business, and religious addresses.

Court adjourns as Kenny v Bankers case reaches verdict
News from the county seat reports continued court action into the next term. L. T. Kenny of Hawarden sued the Bankers Accident Insurance Association after an injury in Central Town last summer. a jury awarded Kenny 1300 dollars with interest. Other cases stalled include S H Carr and Rev Koster of Hull.
