The Heading Township Telephone Association held its annual meeting at city hall last Saturday with many attendees. Officers elected include Geers F. Becker as President Wr Dealy as Vice President a Vander Hamm as Secretary duo Vietho as Treasurer and D Hammond Georg Pereboom Louis Ueanrich as Directors. The secretary’s books show income of £538 20 and disbursements £7 56 20 for the year. Six new phones were added and several miles of line built. joining the Union Telephone Association was postponed to a future date.

One of the area’s oldest term houses in Sioux County burned Monday morning. Occupied by J. B. Irvin, the attic fire spread from an unknown cause. Neighbors helped save downstairs goods but flames overtook the building. No insurance coverage found. the house built by Hush Davison and owned by the Irwin family for 23 years.
