Fire Destroys Most Of Silas Ross Home In East Second Street
A morning blaze on East Second Street severely damaged the Silas Ross residence. Neighbors and firemen saved some furniture but rugs and Nate Ross’s clothes were lost. Four gold watches stolen during the blaze were recovered and returned to the family. The family relocated the remaining goods to the Kunath house as Mrs. Donald Ross and their baby found temporary shelter with J A Wehr.
