Mothers Day Fete Chorus Finals At University
Eight choruses compete Sunday in the University of Iowa Mother's Day weekend finals at 7 30 p m on the Iowa river banks near the fine arts building. A loving cup is awarded to winning groups in both women and men divisions with Alpha Chi Omega and The Quadrangle among past finalists. Weekend events begin Friday with the May Frolic in the Iowa Union lounge featuring Bill Meardon's orchestra.

ROTC Parade Before President Hancher at Iowa
The University of Iowa ROTC unit will march in review for President Virgil M. Hancher on May 14 to display unit growth and improved annual performance. About 840 cadets in nine companies will participate along with the Scott Highlands, University Band, Pershing Riflemen, and Pontoniers. President Hancher will award the Chicago Tribune military merit prizes and other honors including a military scholastic basic medal for cadets with a 3.0 average and an A in military science, plus twelve expert manual of arms medals for elementary students.
