Bridge Marathon closes year at St George's church
St George's Episcopal church hosted the closing party for the bridge marathon. Thirty-eight couples played through the year with prizes awarded for top scores and door prizes. High season honors went to Mr. and Mrs. William Jacobson. second to Mr. and Mrs. Burton Dull. third to Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Korff. Russell Green earned a high score at Monday night. Committee hosts included Mr. and Mrs. James Bowers and others.

Long Lost Relatives Found After 54 Years Reunion
Mrs. Hamilton of Merrill meets 28 relatives across Iowa after contacting kin for decades. Granville Spalding High School will hold baccalaureate services Monday May 27 at St Joseph Church for 45 seniors, with commencement on May 30 at Spalding Gym.
