Westmar juniors and seniors held their annual banquet Saturday night with the theme Sound of Music. The program split into four sections representing each year of college life, opening with Getting to Know You and ending with Climb Ev’ry Mountain. Co chairmen Virginia Dickey and John Shelton led the event while Craig Haike served as master of ceremonies.
Don Bowers Jr, grandson of Mr and Mrs Russell Bowers of Le Mars, won an Air Force Academy appointment in Colorado and will report in late June. He is a Fort Smith high school senior with a strong science record. His father is Don S Bowers of Fort Smith.
