Alvin L. Roberts 8, a retired farmer and longtime Onawa resident since 1884, died Monday at a Sioux City hospital. Funeral services are Thursday at Pearson funeral home at pm with burial in Onawa cemetery. Surviving are two daughters, two sons, six sisters, three brothers including Dick of Le Mars, six grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
