Grady wins bronze star at Clinton-Sherman AFB
Le Mars resident Donald R Grady senior master sergeant received the bronze star for meritorious service as NCO in charge of logistics plans with the 314th Tactical Airlift Wing during ground operations in Vietnam from Aug 1966 to Sept 1967. He returned to the United States last September and heads to Okinawa in April. His wife Dolores Wilhelmi and their three daughters remained at the Oklahoma base.

Home owners balk at wider highway plan in Sioux Center
At a Sioux Center council meeting, residents along the west side of U S highway 75 urged against widening the four downtown blocks to add parallel parking.
