CYO Results From Storm Lake Music Contest
Gehlen students earned three ratings at the CYO music contest in Storm Lake on March 23. The trumpet trio Dick Flynn Jim Vander Meer and Nancy Mansen earned an excellent rating performing Bugler's Holiday. The junior girls sextet Marcy Braun Diane Gotto Linda Kohler Rene Thill Carolyn Nemmers Carol Kaschmitter sang Little China Figure and earned an excellent rating. Nancy Paetz scored a 1 on White Peacock piano solo while Marcy Braun received a 2 plus for O Mio Babino Caro. Other contestants earned 3s. Those with a 1 will be honored at Gehlen’s CYO award day April 28.
