Over 1 200 people attended the four county NFO supper Tuesday night at Sheldon Community building. About 45 Plymouth county members joined. ham dinner by a Sheldon firm, Schweitzer band provided music, Martin Buss of Monona county master of ceremonies. Reverend Floyd Bowerman spoke, Vickie Heuer read Cinderella, Rolland Waters of Elk Mound discussed milk contracts and NFO activities. Waters noted processors signed three to five master contracts recently. District four NFO to meet at Hinton Thursday night. Plymouth county NFO to meet March 18 at the Eagles club.
Special Court Santa Maria No 179 of the Catholic Daughters of America held a 6:30 p.m. potluck at the KC hall with 128 attendees. Mrs. Gordon Schmitz chaired. committee hostesses included Mrs. Jack Rueter and others. Rev. Eugene Schumacher answered questions. Lois Huckle presided. Marcus court organizing. Remsen court to do degree work for Marcus meeting on Sunday March 24. Le Mars court invited. Angeline Kobbermann named deputy for Marcus court.
