About 324 Iowa State University students are practice teaching statewide and in inner city programs in Omaha and Wichita. Home economics and secondary education placements span Des Moines to Le Mars, Bondurant to Hawarden, with 89 elementary and 253 secondary student teachers in 84 communities.
