Morningside President to speak on communism outreach
Dr J Richard Palmer, president of Westminster College since 1952 and leader at Morningside since 1936, will present a Lenten series talk on the Voor and Appeal of Communism at 7 30 p m Tuesday March 12 at St John American Lutheran Church in Sioux City. The lecture includes 20 minutes of travel photos from a 1960 European study tour for Methodist college presidents, and the program is sponsored by United Church Women of Le Mars and the Le Mars Ministerial Association.
