Mr. and Mrs. Jake Porter of Inwood mark their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at First Reformed Church Inwood. Hosts are their children Rosa Daven Pella Dorothy Moon Inwood Don Clark Topeka Kansas John Rock Rapids Stanley Inwood and A L Porter Rock Valley. They married January 3 1912 in Monroe South Dakota. The couple lived on a farm near Le Mars before moving to a farm near Inwood in 1931 and to Inwood in 1945. They have 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. No invitations have been sent.
