James Beckman to face charges at Sioux City
James Beckman 18, Akron youth arrested in Minden Nebraska last Friday in a bank robbery attempt. He was returned to Sioux City to face federal charges of attempted bank robbery and Dyer Act violation for transporting a stolen vehicle across state lines. An Ida county warrant charged assault with intent to inflict great bodily harm. Beckman allegedly held Holstein bank cashier Richard McCrea at gunpoint.
