Dear editor, 1,600 people sent responses to our flood appeal, 600 indicating they received Christ through reading it. Many others, not writing, also came to know the Lord. Family members of the women became Christians, and two girls marked Bibles with Isaiah 43 4. Survivors in a car prayed aloud, expressing faith as waters rose. Blazer and Auger Wagon Collision on County Road K-22
A two-vehicle accident on county road K-22 Saturday morning December 11 left a Sioux City man’s 1975 Chevrolet Blazer with about 800 dollars in damage. Gary Derby 28 driving north collided with Ronald Kovarna 20 who was passing with an auger wagon. The wagon sustained no damage. Deputy Sheriff Dave Stock investigated.
