R Blaine Brownlee 59 of Sioux City died Sunday at home after a long illness. Born November 24 1906 at Battle Center he married Vertress H Davis April 15 1931 in Le Mars. He lived in Anthon and Hastings Nebraska before moving to Sioux City 22 years ago. He was a Sears Roebuck salesman. Survivors include his widow two sons David J and Jim B of Sioux City a brother Wayne of Washta and one grandchild.

Death of Andrew Manz Former Plymouth County Resident
Andrew Manz a former Plymouth county resident died November 15 at his home in Barstow California. He was born on a farm north of Merrill son of Henry and Margaret Manz married Katherine Barth March 25 1908. The couple taught school in Washington township later moved to California where he became a prominent citrus grower in the Whittier area until retirement. Survivors include son Ruben of Sky Forest California one sister Mrs Elizabeth Lemke of Onawa and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held in Whittier with burial in Rose Hill cemetery.
