Survived by nieces and nephews, he valued wisdom from college students across the street and lived humbly, faithful to his Bible.

Survived by wife two sons Emery Jr and Jerry both of Ireton a daughter Mrs Danny Cain Belmond six grandchildren one brother Orville Ireton and one sister Mrs George Stoffer Castro Valley Calif. lifelong member of St Paul Lutheran church.
