Former Le Mars Teacher Bequeaths Gift to Iowa Historical Society
In the winter 1975 issue of News for Members the Iowa state historical department notes a bequest of 11909.56 from Donald G. Law of Le Mars to the Iowa Historical Society. Law, a partner at Ruden Law Realty, completed Realtors Institute Course II in Des Moines and aims for Course III leading to GRI. Grace E. Gabriel, longtime East High English head and Des Moines native, died May 16 1974 at 81. she left a life membership in the historical society and a Gabriel bequest awaiting allocation to education-related projects the society will select.
