District Boy Scouts to recruit 250 boys
The Buffalo Valley district of the Boy Scouts of America held its annual steak and plate meeting at Veterans park in Orange City with over 90 attending. It opened the 1966-67 program year and fall round up, distributing materials to leaders of 34 units as the district seeks 250 new scouts in September and October to reach 1,550 members. Prairie Gold Area council recognized four leaders for training awards: William J. Huckle, Urban Dykstra, Floyd Davis, and Calvin Stewart.
