Farmers adopt a fluorescent yellow orange triangle with a red reflective border as a standard emblem for slow moving equipment. The device, endorsed by ASAE since 1966, aims to prevent rear end collisions by clearly signaling drivers both day and night.

The Institute for Neurological Organization targets four brain injured groups: severely unable to move or speak, moderately unable to walk or talk, mildly impaired in walking and speech, and Strauss syndrome hyperactivity and learning problems. Joan Beck notes brain cell regeneration beliefs and doctors emphasize stimulating remaining cells to take over functions of dead ones.
Dr LeWinn of the institutes explains that brain-injured children develop at about one-third the rate of normals. The institutes' environment aims to boost development to 210 percent of normal, allowing some children to catch up or surpass peers. The article promises a detailed outline of the program in upcoming weeks.
About 951 students completed degree work in August at the University of Iowa. No campus-wide ceremony was held. colleges and programs held brief recognition events for graduates.
