Girls Move Into Loras Dorm as Coeducation Starts
Smyth hall at Loras will house 30 to 35 girls in single rooms with some doubling. The move follows a March 1971 decision to go coed. Sixty two students have been accepted for fall, with 23 living beyond commuting distance. Sister Edith Gerleman will oversee the dormitory.
