The Interior Department announced June 25 that at least 360000 kilowatts will be available from Yellowtail and Big Bend dams, following an agreement between Basin Electric Power Cooperative and the Bureau of Reclamation. Many customers in the marketing area have not yet surveyed needs for this extra power, which will be available in 1964. The delay is to assure all preference customers the opportunity.
