3,100 Plymouth county farmers earn payments

Remsen Union announces staff changes and dress code
The Remsen Union schools open Friday August 27 for a half day with about 555 pupils in the 1971-72 year. New and reassigned teachers include Mary Ann Robberman in second grade, Ethel Tschampel in third grade, Patricia Meyer in fourth grade, Veronica Harpenau in fifth, and Evelyn Mohning joining the new combined fifth and sixth grade room to reduce pupil teacher ratios.
