Plan to keep Le Mars hospital via nonprofit interim operation
The Sisters of St. Francis will discontinue sponsorship of Sacred Heart Hospital in Le Mars. A nonprofit corporation could lease and operate the facility during a transition, with the Sisters receiving annual rent and cooperation for up to four years. A community decision by October 31 1966 is urged, with continued operation to January 31 1967 if a decision to maintain a hospital is affirmative.
