William Papenhausen dies in Sioux City at 49
William J. Papenhausen of Santee California died Sunday in a Sioux City hospital after a long illness while visiting relatives in Iowa. He was born January 12 1917 in Laurel Nebraska and served in the Navy during World War II. Survivors include his widow a son Billy Jim a daughter Julie Rosenthaw his mother two sisters three brothers and two grandchildren. The body was taken to Heaton Westcott funeral home.
