The tuberculosis fight effort will not be distributed generally until November 20. Due to requests from servicemen families, Sealy is made available early for Christmas packages. Post office warns against placing gears on package exteriors to avoid confusion with postage stamps in foreign ports. Overseas mailing dates run September 15 to October 15.
C White of Spencer will visit LeMars Thursday evening to lead the Plymouth County War Chest drive kickoff for all workers. Miss Henning speaks for Soldiers in Grease Paint, a USO camp show program participant. Since 1941, USO mobilizes entertainment. 271 units with 41426 entertainers have served overseas.
