Lydia Margarité Weiland died at Sacred Heart hospital in Le Mars on September 24 1950 after a two week illness. Born Lydia Haas in Galena Illinois she was married to Charles Weiland who preceded her in death. Funeral at Maners Chapel September 26 officiated by Rev Bowe with burial in the city cemetery. Survived by sister Mrs George Clausen of Charles City and several nieces and nephews. member of Presbyterian church and Eastern Star. Funeral notice also mentions Fredonia Ladies Farm Bureau meeting with 26 present September 20.
