American Motors announces three Rambler lines Ambassador Classic and American with 29 models across seven engines. Each line carries distinct wheelbases and body styles including sedans station wagons convertibles and hardtops. New powertrain options expand the lineup at Coppock Motors this week.

Robert Schnepf in Single Car Crash Near Remsen
Robert Schnepf of Le Mars was injured when his 1957 Ford ran into a ditch and struck an IPS power pole near Remsen a half mile east of Remsen and three quarters of a mile north of the Red Star station at 11 30 p m last Thursday. He sustained a cut lip and two teeth were knocked out and was treated at the Remsen clinic. The crash caused extensive front end damage and the vehicle was towed to Remsen. A charge of failure to have control was filed in Remsen mayor s court. Additional Admitted and Dismissed lists of local residents follow.

Pierson Man Dies After Basement Fire Strikes Home
Erven Thomas Hayes a 63 year old Pierson area farmer died of a heart attack after fighting a basement fire likely triggered by a lightning strike. Fire departments from Kingsley and Pierson extinguished the blaze. Hayes born February 22 1901 married Frances Keller in 1941. Funeral set for Immaculate Conception Moville with rosary at Dickison Michaelson funeral home Kingsley. Buried Arlington Cemetery.
