Anna Torrey Howard age 67 of 214 Plymouth Street N E died Monday morning September 13 at Sacred Heart hospital after a three week illness. Born December 29, 1881 at Woodbine Iowa she was daughter of A C Torrey and wife of Illinois Central Agent R B Howard of Le Mars. She attended Woodbine Normal and Business College and taught in Harrison County before marriage on November 16.

Bolton of Sioux City gave a speech. Dale Hunter was reelected president with J. M. Wormly Kingsley as vice president and O. W. Church Sioux City as secretary treasurer. Mrs. Fred Hammond served as historian.

A buffet lunch followed with tea and coffee hosted by Mrs E F Goodmanson and Mrs Gale Bergsma. hostesses included Mrs Delbert Dittmer and Mrs Harold Tonjes. Mr and Mrs A Struck moved to Orange City to work on a burned school building and Mrs Struck will teach. Mr and Mrs Dean Franken and Joel returned to Dennison after visiting relatives.
