The Catholic Daughters of America held their season opening meeting Tuesday at Michiels Hall with hostesses Mrs Clara Sage and others. After business, refreshments were served. Skelly Products replaces Hauck and Becker Oil Co in a weeklong celebration with seven free prizes drawn Saturday night and balloons for children. Weather notes: a chilly damp week. St Michael's church begins Saturday religious instruction on September 2 with four Remsen St Mary’s sisters as teachers.
