Brunsville's nightlife again sparked violence when Lloyd Andreesen and another man clashed over a woman at a local dance hall around 1 a.m. Saturday. A bartender was knocked down while attempting to intervene, Town Marshall George Albright arrived and was also assaulted before bystander huskies separated the fight. Andreesen remained jailed on a disturbing the peace charge with no hearing yet.

Team members include Ralph Vondrak of Hinton Don Beil of Le Mars Mars Bill Hoffman and Alfred Sitzman of Humboldt Hoffman and DoBeitalspacher earned top roles at the State Fair. Across seven livestock classes the event featured hogs dairy cows dairy heifers beef cattle and related classes with 85 teams entered.
