Ray Hrnst returned home this week from St Josephs Hospital in Sioux City where he had been a surgical patient. Mr and Mrs Arthur Casper and family of Sioux City and Mr and Mrs A J Casper visited Sunday afternoon at the Herbert Ludwig home. Mr and Mrs Henry Kasch of Sioux City visited Sunday at the Carl Muecke home. Pfc Chester and Mrs Lahrs are visiting relatives at Hinton and Lawton. They came here from Denver where Pfc Lahrs had been.

Mrs Margaret Windenfield was guest of honor at a miscellaneous bridal shower Sunday afternoon at the home of her sister Mrs Thomas Beaulieu. The marriage of Mrs Windenfield and John Bunning of Lawton will take place Monday morning at 8 o'clock in a Blessed Sacrament church in Sioux City. Their friends and relatives are invited to a wedding due Tuesday night at the Eagles summer home in Riverside, moved from Monday to Tuesday Sept 17. Mr and Mrs David Swanson were Le Mars callers Wednesday. Mr and Mrs Leo Vondrak attended the fair at Moville Friday. Mr and Mrs Guy Gittins accompanied Mr and Mrs Hans Petersen to the fair in Spencer Friday. Good soaking rains fell here over the weekend.
