Ames Iowa September 16 22 farmers in Iowa county kept complete cost accounts with Iowa State College and USDA economists showing average corn cost 49.6 cents per bushel with yields at 55.8 bushels per acre. Growing 14.47 acres picking 8. first cost 8.12 land and building, total 25.40 per acre.
