A near head-on two car crash 40 miles south of the junction of highway 8 and county roads left seven youths with minor injuries. Harold Pratt 17 and Lawrence Nilles 16 drove the cars, with Pratt’s 1962 Chevrolet and Nilles’ 1955 Ford rolling over. In Le Mars Illinois two Pontiac cars collided at 1 45 p m Sunday at Seventh Street and Third Avenue SE. Edward James Schieis 26 and passenger JoAnn Schleis eastbound in a 1959 Pontiac and Casimir Jozwiak 52 of Leah Zurich NL with passenger Bernice Jozwiak southbound in a 1960 Pontiac suffered minor damage. Front fender bumper and grill on the Schleis car valued at 125 dollars and 20 dollars damage to the Illinois car headlight door and bumper. Patrolman Jerry Kelly investigated.
