Daring Boys Assault Farmer in Center Street Ambush
Two youths Frank Malone and Elmer McClain charged with robbing Akron farmer Jacob Behrns of $100 after luring him by buggy to a secluded Center Street spot. Behrns was struck and unconscious, four $10 bills taken, then the trio fled. McClain confessed after third degree questioning. Malone arrested later and remains silent. Police Chief J B Richards led the investigation.
