Weekend Guests Visit Several Families Across Iowa
Weekend visitors from Omaha Chicago Waterloo and Des Moines joined local families in Albert Lee Marcus and surrounding towns. Funeral services for Frank Van Buskirk held in Hawarden
Frank Van Buskirk 63 died Sunday morning at University hospital Iowa City. Services were at 2 pm Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Hawarden with burial in Gracehill cemetery. Surviving widow five children Lester Seward Vernon and Mrs Henry Timmmerall Hawarden and Mrs Jack Adamson Culver City Cal. 15 grandchildren, four brothers, two sisters. He worked for Van Buskirk Construction Co. born in Union County near Akron Iowa May 28. He lived in Sioux City then Hawarden. Burial under Barnard funeral home direction. A window display of Smokers at Le Mars Nurseries shows ripening yellow and red tomatoes with peppers. they sell large quantities of garden produce yearly.
