Resumed studies at Central high school in LeMars. Miss Viola Pingel of Marcus spent Tuesday with Miss Ruth McArthur. Mr. and Mrs. Alex McArthur visited relatives in Sioux City. Bert Criswell a Sioux City business visitor. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Chambers returned to Watertown after visiting here. Miss Verna Burris returned to Sioux City after a two week visit with relatives Mrs Harvey Buss and Mrs Roy McArthur. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jones of Ireton were guests of Hollis Wills. Henry Berketipas and son Darrel and Mrs. Michael Zoerink and son visited the Jas Lordgreger home. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Criswell and son Gordon called at the Ralph Marcue home. Wesley Lancaster Jr. left for Great Lakes naval duties after a 10 day furlough. Pvt. Leonard Berkenpas arrived home from Texas for a furlough with his wife and child in Alton. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Reeves and Karen of Peoria have returned home.
