Westmar College Opens Year with Faculty Meeting and Picnic

Westmar College began the new year on September 5 with a faculty meeting in the college library to discuss the past year and plan activities including a panel on Education for a Free Society with speakers Darrly Ziettlow Wayne Marty Ellen Oliver Jack Scott Charles Lemke and a counseling workshop leader. A Faculty Senate session followed at 9 am. Nearby, the Schultz home on Second Avenue North East was torn down to make way for a new house by Leo Nuebel of Le Mars after old lumber and junk were burned. A three year old named Jeffery Bia suffered severe head injuries after being kicked by a horse north of Movillé.
