Mary Fuller mother of Mrs Art Pierce fell Tuesday night breaking a limb just below the hip. She has been paralyzed on the right side for years but could move about the house. She fell while moving from the porch to the house. Dr Cole attended and fears slow healing due to age.

James O'Brien aged 55 died at his Plymoth county home after a three day illness described as summer complaint. His remains were brought to Sioux City for burial at St. Jean Baptist church with interment in Logan Bark cemetery. He had lived on the family farm for 39 years and is survived by his sister Miss Anna O'Brien and brother J. B. O'Brien of 810 Center Street.

Woman hurt near old rink debris after pipe mishap
Mrs W L Pausson was severely injured Friday evening while walking with her sister near the burned skating rink debris on Glarke street. A water pipe left by workmen supplying a foundry caused her to strike it, spraining her ankle and ligaments. Dr Reeves treated her at her sister’s home.
