Shoppers and visitors from Chatsworth and Sioux City appear at homes and churches from Thursday to Monday. A Grant township mission fest drew attendees at the Lutheran church. Local marriages, showers, and birthday gatherings filled the week as teachers reported for Perry township schools and residents planned visits to Omaha and Sioux City.

Perry Center Mrs. Mary Schuttpelz and Rich ard and Dorothy returned Tuesday from a week with Mrs. Schuttpelz sister in Fra zee Minn. Miss Deloris Clemensen left for Seattle to stay six months or a year with her sister Mrs Mabel Hansen. Mr and Mrs Oliver Bannes and Warren and Robert returned Monday from a Black Hills trip and visits in De Smet S D Minneapolis and Windom Minn.
