Funeral Rites Held for Mrs Siebens in Preston Township
Mrs. Siebens a longtime Plymouth County resident died at age 82 after a lengthy illness. Born July 22, 1875 in Riepe Germany she moved to the United States with her parents in 1892 and settled in Akron area. She married Eldert Siebens in 1894 and had eleven children, four of whom survived with many grandchildren. A devout member of St John American Lutheran Church Preston she received Holy Communion and supported the church through the Ladies Aid. Funeral services were held September 2 1957 at St John Lutheran with burial in St John Lutheran Cemetery.
