LeMars Schools Open With Flag Raising Ceremony
Le Mars public schools opened with an impressive flag raising at the Franklin and Clark buildings and a Central program featuring the pledge, patriotic songs, and a speech by Carl Witt. Enrollment totals show 173 high school students with 157 in the public system, including kindergarten and transfers. The opening included new faculty introductions, ceremonial elements, and plans for football, marching band, and extra-curricular activities.
