Lightning Burns Up a Straw Stack at Local Farm
A lightning strike destroyed a straw stack on the Leo Sitzman farm during a Wednesday night storm. Neighbors and the Kingsley fire truck controlled the blaze. Two hogs were killed by the lightning. The Page Silo Co. built a silo on the Ed Heimgardner farm last week. Various local residents visit, travel, or attend events through the week, including a bridge picnic in Kingsley park and multiple family visits.
