James Phillips of Missoula Montana, a hotel guest, woke to find his watch, overcoat, and overshoes stolen from his room after sharing drinks with a fellow lodger identified as R W Howard of St Paul Minnesota. Howard fled on a 3 o'clock train. police dispatched a description but have not found him. Phillips remains in town with money missing but another loss avoided.

The remains were brought to Remsen Friday forenoon and laid to rest in the Lutheran cemetery Saturday forenoon, services at Christchurch. Mrs Erdiann is the only daughter of Mr and Mrs C L Rosburg. The sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved.
