William Lee aged 85 died at his daughter's home Mrs Carson Herron in Normal Park after a long life. He was beloved and genial, with funeral services at his home led by Rev C F Fisher. Remains shipped to Dixon for final rites. Survived by daughters Mrs C Herron and Mrs W D Monroe and several sons and grandchildren.

Death of Otto Kastier a Plymouth county settler
Otto Kastier, also spelled Kastner, died from a stroke on Tuesday night while living with his son about one mile west of Ruble. He was a brother of Mrs. Guntav Haerling of LeMars, an early Plymouth County settler. The funeral is planned for Friday afternoon in Ada ville.
