A Merrill man named Geo Flore reported being robbed last Sunday evening after showing a roll of money in the afternoon. He says a stranger invited him for a walk toward St. Croix lumber yards, offered whiskey, knocked him out, and stole about 850 dollars before fleeing. police were alerted but the suspect remains at large.
